Funding options
Private Health
You may be able to claim a rebate from your child’s private health insurance for Occupational Therapy services. Rebates may differ between Private Health Insurance companies. You are encouraged to contact your Private Health Insurance provider to gain further information regarding rebates prior to accessing therapy services with us.
Medicare
Your child may be eligible to receive rebate for 5 occupational therapy sessions. You need to get a Medicare Plan from your GP or Paediatrician prior to your first session in order to claim the rebate. Please note that we charge a gap fee, so you will have some out of pocket expenses.

NDIS
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a funding scheme currently being rolled out across the disability sector in Australia. If eligible for NDIS, your child will receive funding on an annual basis to buy the services and aids required for optimal independence. Connect & Grow OT is not a registered NDIS provider, but services provided by us can be paid for by clients who self manage their NDIS funding.
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation fee of $193 or $86 per session applies when appointments are cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled session time or when clients do not attend without giving notice.
Client support
In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled session, our therapists will offer alternative means of support, such as:
• Online Sessions: We can provide online sessions with the child and/or parent to ensure continuity of therapy.
• Resource Development: Our therapists can develop customized resources to support the client's progress, which can be utilized at home or in educational settings.
• Collaboration Meetings: If applicable, we will attempt to arrange meetings with teachers or other relevant health professionals to facilitate effective collaboration and support.
